What to Bring?

Bring your own food, beverages, laundry and bath soaps, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, Paper goods, fishing gear, snorkel gear, and personal items.

What do I need to do to reserve The Flamingo Villa and what are the rental rates?

Weekly reservations:

We accept reservations for a week at a time to arrive at 4p.m. on Sunday and check out by noon the next Sunday. Weekly rates are $300/night plus Florida Sales Tax.

We accept reservations for a minimum of 4 nights for $325/night plus Florida Sales Tax.

A damage deposit of $350 is required upon booking and will be returned if there are no damages to the Villa.

Half payment is due 6 weeks in advance of your stay and the balance is due at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your reservations, the following policy will be followed. A $75 cancellation fee is charged if you cancel at least 6 weeks in advance of check in. If you cancel 3 weeks to 6 weeks in advance of check in date your damage deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel less than 3 weeks in advance of check in date your damage deposit and half payment will be forfeited.

What is there to do in the Steinhatchee area?

  • There is fantastic fishing in the Steinhatchee River and in the Gulf of Mexico (in - shore or off- shore). Guide services are available
  • Scalloping season is wonderful. Scallops are as abundant as the sunshine!
  • There are great seafood restaurants, quaint shops, and art galleries in the area too.
  • Hunting is available in the Big Bend Wildlife Management Area. There are over 65 miles of undeveloped Florida coastline and forests teeming with wildlife!
  • Crystal River, Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs, fabulous clear water springs great for swimming, are within a 1.5-hour drive of Steinhatchee.
  • Opportunities to swim with the manatees are also within a1.5-hour drive.
