Steinhatchee’s annual Crab Festival has become the big event for this small coastal fishing community. From the very beginning, rain or shine, the event has attracted thousands of visitors to the riverside between Taylor and Dixie counties, in Natural North Florida.
Steinhatchee is located in southern Taylor County, at the mouth of the Steinhatchee River. From US 19/98 northbound, take SR 358 west to Jena and cross the 10th Street Bridge. From US 19/98 southbound, take SR51 from Tennille and travel about 6 miles to Steinhatchee.
2019 Steinhatchee Boat Parade will begin at Fiddler’s Restaurant and end at Roy’s Restaurant on Saturday, December 14th at Dark Thirty!
