It's Fun!

The 2010 Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce's Fiddler Crab Festival got rave reviews from the participates and from the people that attended.

The Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its 3rd Annual Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival. The Festival will be held February 18th-20th, 2011 at the Steinhatchee Community Center which overlooks the beautiful Steinhatchee River.

We had a very successful festival last year with an attendance of approximately 3500-4000 visitors and this year's promises to be bigger and better.

The festival will be a two-day and a half day event.

We will "kick off" the Festival on Friday Night, February 18th with a block party. Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th festivities will include: Live Music, Craft and Food Vendor Booths, Fiddler Crab Races, Parade, Swamp Water Challenge Cook-off, Duck Derby, Kid's Activities, Photo Contest, Eco River Boat Tours, Antique Car Show, Captain Nemo's Fishing Clinic for Kids,Lots of Spots Redfish Fish Tournament and much much more!

Safe Light – Lots of Spots tournament begins
7:00 am to 9:00am – Breakfast at Community Center (American Legion)
9:00 – Parade line-up
9:00 – Information Booth opens
10:00 – Parade Starts
10:00 – 4:00 – River tours
11:00 – Opening Ceremonies
11:00 – Photo winners on display
11:00 – 6 – Camp Nemo open

12:00 – Cook off tasting for public begins
